UI Gaffe: Bad choice I was using a shopping cart for a web site I won't mention and saw the following:

Now there are two things wrong here.

1. If the user doesn't select something from the Choice list, they get an error. However, there was only one choice to make for this item, so it boggles the mind why the user shoulc have to make any choice!
   
2. The error message says, "Please select an option first." Problem: there is no "option" there is a "choice".
